(or should I say, "Easy, Pee-sy"?!)
Well, the Cystoscopy is done.
I probably could have walked home, but the little nerves were shot, making me think (and for some time yet to come in all likelihood!) that I might want a toilet every other minute.
So, the returned International Traveller picked me up, and all is well.
I think some of my friends were thinking of the Ureteroscopy, which does seem to involve a spinal or general anesthetic, but today, for me, the little scope went up without a hitch, only hitting a few nerves.
The Dr. gave me the "all clear" and promptly booked me for a renal ultrasound and X-ray.
For now, though, I will try not to think about it too much.
I think today's session will be a walk in the park compared to next Friday, when I have to go and talk about the results of yesterday's blood work with my G.P. My glucose levels haven't been very good- unless a person can just be above average in areas of sweetness!
Yup.
All done for today.
Now I just have to wash the dishes, do some ironing and pray for Randall, who's supposed to do a funeral this afternoon for someone he doesn't know. I know those are the hardest ones for him.
Oh! And stay near the bathroom for awhile.
Crazy bladder nerves.
Ugh. Glad you came through alright.
ReplyDeleteWell done for being so brave.
I dont need to know this!
ReplyDeleteHey, it's a free cyberspace... you can stop reading at any time, Thomas!
ReplyDeleteI can tell Thomas doesn't read Dixie's blog!
