Nope; No Banana Bread Yet

They got scrambled eggs, for what it's worth.

Is it ever nice out!

Well, nice in a Southern Ontario mid winter kind of way.

It's been raining since yesterday, and the air is cool and fresh. There's an incredibly brisk wind blowing.  It smells like dead leaves and diesel. Reminds me of London, England in December...

We spent two years in Aylmer, Ontario, and days like this make me feel like listening to Christmas music, and baking pumpkin pies, and roasting turkeys and wrapping gifts.

Autumn came overnight this year.

Can't wait for the first cold, sunny, leaf raking day.

For now, though, I'm going to tackle the breakfast dishes and see about that nap... I'm starting to get a little shaky, and I don't think all of it can be attributed to dashing over to the school in my bare, sandaled feet...

  1. Never thought the day would come where I would prefer cool over hot but ya, I'm just so pleased for this decline in temps. Makes me want to rake. Not.
