Another day.
It was hard to get up this morning... might have something to do with moving the "sewing corner" into the smaller upstairs bedroom. It will be nice to have "my stuff" accessible on the main floor- with a BIG WINDOW for light! BUT on top of a long day, with the achy back and increasingly sore stomach muscles (from my Klutzy acrobatic display) all those trips up and down the stairs carrying heavy stacks of fabric and laundry baskets full of storage cupboard contents... well, it was a little hard to get up this morning.
It helps that I have a tea date with my friend down the street at 9:30. I need to get there for tea. It soothes my soul.
Before I go out, I hope to get a batch of shortbread in the oven, and while the shortbread is baking, I'll mix up a second batch of gingerbread.
Then it's the Babysitting Course Final Exam... then marking the exams... then
Probably a nap.
But I don't take naps, so...
Last night was Micah's Christmas Band Concert.
His Senior band played well.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again-
Beginner Band Teachers must be the most Optimistic people in all of creation.
Now... where is my tea...
