Or, Baking For Fun And Profit.
In 12 hours I:
-mixed up, rolled out, baked and decorated 4 dozen gingerbread men.
-mixed up, rolled in balls, then pressed (with the cookie press), sprinkled with decorative sugar, baked then iced the bottoms of 9 dozen sugar cookie snowflakes.
-mixed up and baked 4 dozen ginger snaps and 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies.
-made 1 batch of Nanaimo Bars.
-made 1 batch of Peanut Butter/ Butterscotch Bars. (also known as Butterscotch Confettie)
-made 1 large batch of Scottish Shortbread, pressed into 2 -8" pans.
-made 8 dozen Cinnamon Buns.
-made 6 dozen Orange Rolls.
-stood on my feet for 10, long uninterupted hours.
I'm pooped.
You'd think I'd call it a day, but oh, NO!
Not when tomorrow is the last day of school before the Christmas break.
Not when the Boy has 2 classroom teachers that he'd like to gift.
So, in the oven, rising by the heat of the light, are 3 dozen Cinnamon Buns.
The Christmas morning Cinnamon Snow Men Buns are rising on top of the stove.
I can start baking them in a few minutes, and when they are done?
So will I be.
Oh my goodness..
ReplyDeleteI am impressed.
