I stopped at the Library Basement to peruse the Book Sale books.
I picked up "The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow and Rip Van Winkle", which I have never read.
I found something by P.D. James and another something (more historical, less romantical) by Georgette Heyer.
I also found, to my joy and delight, "The Pocket Book of Ogden Nash".
Fun.
Here's one to start the Weekend with:
THE TERMITE, by Odgen Nash
Some primal termite knocked on wood
And tasted it, and found it good,
And that is why your Cousin May
Fell through the parlor floor today.
Here's to sunshine and swinging deck chairs.
