After a really pleasant coffee break with the Home & School Gals, (and the most thoughtful "thank you" gift ever) I came home and checked the strawberry patch.
What I could see of it through the ultra- growth of weeds.
So.
I got Randall to hand me a bowl, and I picked the ripe berries and cleaned up the riff-raff in the strawberry patch.
I gotta say... this is why I hate weeding... my legs, an hour after the fact, and after only 20 minutes or so of actual weeding, feel like rubber.
At least there were a goodly amount of berries to show for it.
I'm glad the raspberries are further from the ground! They should be ready in a week or so.
Yum.
