Try putting a substantial dose of cognac in there - I'm sure it'll help.
ReplyDeleteI KNEW there was something missing... I considered a big slice of the ice-cream cake that was going around, but decided that the sugar hangover in the morning wasn't worth it, even if the elevated glucose levels might counteract the caffeine... but ALCOHOL... now that might have helped...
ReplyDeleteLittle did I suspect.
ReplyDeleteThat very night I got no sleep.
None.

Nada.
I had a runny nose for about 10 days before, and around 3.30pm on Friday afternoon lurgy crept over me. I took a full dose of flu-strength cold rememdy before going to bed in the hope my sinuses wouldn't fill, and instead the caffeine kept me away. Went shopping in Tesco at 3.30am. Off the the mens prayer meeting at 7.15am saturday morning.
I now have no voice, aching joints and fuzzy head. Nice.
