Today I'm making jam, going out for lunch, and sewing a bear.

For SURE I'm making jam and going out for lunch.

I'll see how far I get on the bear.

I've had a big- I mean HUGE bag of SuperStore frozen strawberries thawing and draining since yesterday afternoon, so this morning, as soon as I'm done in the shower, I'll be routing out some jars for filling with fresh strawberry jam.

It's not that much work, and it's way cheaper and much better than anything you can buy at the store. I mean, you can buy good strawberry jam, yes, but I'm far too cheap frugal to put out the kind of money one must put out to purchase the good strawberry jam.

Homemade is always better anyway.

So, as time is ticking away, I'm getting down to 3.5 hours before I'm being picked up for the lunch date.

I'd better put some hustle in that bustle.
