We were driving home last night, after a lovely evening out,
When a commercial came on the radio:
First there were cheering sounds, like a celebratory party. Then a child's voice said, "I love you, Grandma".
Then the announcer said, "What are you missing if you can't hear properly", or some such thing.
And I thought-
This is a commercial aimed at hearing impaired people. On the radio.
Is that not an oxymoron?! Fairly self defeating?
And then I almost laughed out loud, and had to explain my inner giggle;
On the rail by the garage door hangs a cloth bag from Canadian Tire. Bold white letters declare: "This Is A Green Bag"
Except it's not.
It's a BLACK bag.
I'm still so easily amused. At least every time I go through the door to the garage.
That's funny!! I always like the simple humor better, and simple things make me laugh! Kind of like the warning on with the hair dryer that says "Do not use while showering."
ReplyDeleteOr instruction #8 on my Hot Brush: "Do not use while sleeping".
ReplyDeleteThat still cracks me up!
LOL! I love those 'instructions' :)
