Or maybe just the contrast in our heights as Randall and I approached the English Teacher at Parent Interviews last night,

But as we each pulled up a chair

The Teacher said,

With his hand gesturing as though patting the head of a small child,

"Aren't you the cutest little thing!"

I suspect that he'd be embarrassed if he realized I'd heard him over the echoing gymnasium noises,

But it brought a smile to the beginning of the evening.
