We were down by about 10 for our Last Supper,
And it was Wok and Roll Chinese, as opposed to Kosher Jewish,
But it was good.
Then, after finishing his homework, Micah killed the chocolate bunny and we sacrificed our blood sugar for half a pound, or so, of strawberries, about half a fresh pineapple and several bananas.
We, the old ones, are being reminded why night snacks at 10:00 aren't a good idea anymore!
Ah, well.
I got everything but "give the bathrooms a quick clean" crossed off my list, and since I just cleaned them 3 days ago I'll not fret about it.
I think I may be ready for tomorrow.
Surgery has been set for about noon, depending on how long it takes to work through the queue.
I'll have enough time in the morning to make it not feel overly rushed...
But still...
I'd best call it a day and get to bed.
I don't suppose over- tiredness contributes in any good ways to blood pressure and handling stress.

Love the "killing of the chocolate bunny" But then how will it lay chocolate eggs? This could have serious repercussions.

ReplyDeleteHi Lauralee, I do hope your surgery has went well. I have been thinking about you. I hope your recovery is a quick one. One thing I might say, is please make sure to take it easy and don't push yourself too much. When I had the surgery, I shared a room with a older lady who was ih for surgery to repair her, after she decided to vacuum 6 weeks after her surgery and trust me when I say I think that that surgery may have been far worse than the hysterectomy itself! Take care you guys...
ReplyDeleteThanks Shannon:) I'll definitely lay off anything that involves muscle for the full 6 weeks. Vacuuming can be done by The Men for a couple extra :) I promise to take it easy.
