Phase two of the Holiday Project being complete, we have begun the third and final stage of the vacation.
We found our London hotel quite easily, and are busy making use of the free Wifi to update blogs, look at pictures of the snow at home, find a cinema for tonight (we're thinking of "RED"), and get some ideas for supper.
So far three emergency/police vehicles have gone racing past with screaming sirens.
This could be a good place for Field Transition to occur. Two nights in noisy, crowded London should make us nice and ready for the peace and quiet of home.
Even if they did start winter without me after I expressly told them not too.
I'm glad you found the place OK, and got in there on a sunny day (no fun dragging suitcases through the rain, looking for somewhere you've never been before).
ReplyDeleteSleep well these last few days, if you can, before returning to the fishbowl.
BTW for 'busy nights' try Glasgow in summer. The first night I stayed there (Nile street Holiday Inn) it seemed like there was a police car every 15min.
